2023 Canby KC Charities - Auction and Crab Dinner
Wow, it's exciting to be back in person at the Canby Fairgrounds Main Pavilion celebrating our 26th anniversary with family, friends and the community. Last year, we reluctantly had to resort to a drive-thru dinner and an online auction because of Covid-19 restrictions.
This year, because of space limitations in the Fairgrounds Pavilion (no upstairs for silent auction items), we will be trying something new. Along with the live action for the sit-down dinner, we will have a combination silent auction, where some items will be for online biding only and others will be located in a side room in the main pavilion where dinner is served. Items on the online auction will be available for bidding a week before our event and the night of the event using your cell phone. Online auction bidding will close at 6:30 pm, just like the in-person silent auction items.
On Saturday, February 25th, the doors open at 4:30 pm for the silent auction, with the dinner starting at 6:45 pm. Click on web page "Schedule of Events - Night of Auction" above to see complete schedule.
Online Auction Bidding
This year, we will be using our Greater Giving software to allow you to bid on some of the silent auction items online. This will allow guests that cannot attend our event to bid on items. A link to the webpage will allow you to register with your name, address information, email address and cell phone number.
Bidding online begins Saturday, February 18th and ends on Saturday February 25th. The winning bidder will pick up the item and pay for it with check, cash or credit card the night of the auction or for those not attending the sit-down dinner, on Saturday, March 4th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm .
Last year, our Special Appeal raised over $14,000 to help a Canby family with three children that lost all their personal possessions from a home fire the day before Thanksgiving. This year's Special Appeal will be for the Pregnancy Care Center in Canby. For more information about the Pregnancy Care Center, click on the "Special Appeal Donation" button above.

Online biding began on February 18th and closes at 6:30 pm on Saturday, February 25th, the same time the in-person silent auction at the Fairgrounds closes.
